Formula 1 is set to put the pedal to the metal with a new streaming service, F1 TV.

Amazon Music offers a vast catalog of regional and international content to Prime subscribers in India.

Amazon soft-launched Prime Music alongside the Echo family last November, with the service accessible to anyone with an Echo device. T-Mobile and Sprint announce first markets to support their 5G networks

The 5G future is almost here.

The race to 5G seems to be heating up among U.S. carriers every single day, and during MWC 2018, T-Mobile and Sprint both announced their respective plans for rolling out their 5G networks over the next year.

Amazon to purchase smart doorbell company Ring for over a billion dollars

Amazon will soon be purchasing Ring, a company that sells smartphone-connected doorbells with video cameras built in. This deal is reportedly going to cost Amazon over $ 1 billion.

The acquisition makes perfect sense for both companies. Amazon generally allows acquired companies to continue operating as normal, but Ring will now have Amazon’s resources available to it. Amazon gets another smart company to bolster its smart home offerings, something which both Amazon and Google have been pushing hard.

UK residents can now control Amazon’s Fire TV with Echo speakers

The walled-garden gets even better.

Although there may no longer be an official YouTube app, Amazon’s Fire TV platform is still a great way for consuming all your favorite content on the big screen – especially if you have an Amazon Echo, too.

On February 27, Amazon announced that residents in the United Kingdom can now control their Fire TV by talking to their Echo smart speakers – something the U.S. has had since last August.
