Lookout, folks. Any and every keyboard developer for Android is licking its chops today, as Apple finally will allow third-party keyboards in iOS 8 — a feature we’ve enjoyed on Android for as long as I can remember. The difference, of course, is that Android’s stock keyboard wasn’t all that impressive for quite some time, allowing the likes of SwiftyKey and Swype to take over. It’ll be interesting to see how many make the leap to iOS 8.
More going on at iMore.
