Moto X+1 gets confirmed by accident

Songza curating multi-million dollar bid from Google

Hold onto your headphones. Google is apparently in talks to buy the popular free music streaming and recommendation service Songza. Founded in late 2007, Songza has built up over 5.5 million active users. Google’s own Larry Page is allegedly leading the charge to acquire Songza for $ 15 million.

Microsoft releases OneNote Clipper for Chrome, Springpad migration tool

Microsoft has released a Chrome extension for their note-taking app OneNote called OneNote Clipper. You can install the extension either by going to the OneNote website, or the Chrome Web Store. From there, OneNote Clipper lets you save webpages and clips to OneNote to be viewed later.

LG G3 sells like crazy: 100,000 units sold in Korea after just 5 days

Earlier this week we reported that LG G3 outsold Samsung’s Galaxy S5 in Korea at a 3:1 ratio, selling 25-30,000 units a day. We’re talking initial launch period but these are still some respectable numbers. Now we have some more numbers for you.

Motorola will build you a custom Moto X to try for two weeks for just a penny

On Monday, June 9, Motorola will let you build a custom Moto X with Moto Maker, and then ship it to you for a two-week at-home trial. All for just $ 0.01. That’s right, a custom Moto X for two weeks for a penny. That is, just on Monday, and only “while quantities last,” though we imagine we’re still looking at a good number of phones here.

Chromecast comes to Brazil at a steep price

Google’s Chromecast is now available in Brazil, but customers will have to pay a much higher price for the device than in other parts of the world. While other countries can get the dongle at a relatively low price, like $ 35 in the U.S., £30 in the U.K, Brazilian customers will have to shell out, R$ 199, or around $ 88. This is par for the course in Brazil, where many imports face heavy taxation.

12-inch Samsung tablet with 4k spotted in the wild

Samsung seems to already have a 4K display on a tablet as a prototype has been spotted in the wild at the French Open. The tablet that was spotted is 12-inches in size and was being used to demonstrate an LTE broadcast at the French Open where Techradar was informed that it was running a Snapdragon 801 processor.
