Sprint Confirms ETF Rising to $350 for ‘Advanced Devices’

Sprint confirmed with PhoneScoop today that the early termination fee for Android phones and tablets will soon rise from $ 200 to $ 350. According to an official statement emailed to the mobile tech blog, the new pro-rated policy will take effect on September 9th and will apply to ‘advanced devices’ which includes smart phones, tablets, notebooks, and netbooks. Not so fast, AT&T! U.S. Justice Department sues to block T-Mobile merger.

The United States Justice Department has officially come out against AT&T’s proposed acquisition of T-Mobile’s USA unit. Citing concerns about a lack of competition that would result from the merger, the Justice Department has filed a lawsuit seeking a court order to block the deal from taking place.
