System update rolling out for the Acer Iconia, brings a market update and improved UI speed

The Acer Iconia A500 is getting a pretty widespread system update this evening — actually it’s getting two.  Users are reporting that they receive the first (7.014.01), and it’s quickly followed by version7.014.02.  Both are small (less than 10MB) files, and neither are Ice Cream Sandwich.  What the updates are bringing is welcome though, namely a change to the latest 3.4.4 version of the Android Market and it’s corresponding widget, and improved  [Read More…]

Verizon: Galaxy Nexus not having signal problems, our fix will make it display more bars

After the long, very long awaited Samsung Galaxy Nexus release for Verizon, customers started reporting issues with the 4G LTE network. Verizon has acknowledged the problem, and says that it is working on a fix via a software update. It seems like the fix is not as big as we expected, though.

Sony LT28at passes Bluetooth SIG, HD display and 13 MP camera in tow

Little is known about the Sony Ericsson LT28at beyond a previous rumor that suggested the LT28at will feature a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor (unknown make). The LT28at is back and has made its way through the Bluetooth SIG process. The SIG showing indicates this Xperia superphone is going to be a beast, featuring a 4.55″ 720P HD “Reality Display” and a whopping 13 megapixel rear camera.

T-Mobile beats up iPhone yet again in Bonus Round [Sponsored Post]
