Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus available for pre-order on Amazon


Just can’t get away from the Samsung news today. Pre-orders for Samsung’s 7-inch Galaxy Tab Plus went live in Europe just a bit over a week ago, and now Amazon has the US version available for pre-order. Still no mention of the exact release date, however.

Samsung says Galaxy Nexus has been patent proofed against Apple


If you thought the Galaxy Nexus would be the latest device to get caught up in the Apple vs Samsung lawsuits currently taking place around the globe, think again.

Sprint just unveiled the HTC EVO Design 4G, which will be available Oct. 23 for only $ 100. The Now Network has really been hard at work as of late, with its new commitment of switching to 4G LTE beginning in 2012. Andy Rubin: 6 million Android Tablets in the wild


Though we’ve had some information trickle in about the number of Android tablets in the wild, these numbers have largely been tablet shipments, which can vary significantly from the number of activated devices. At AsiaD this morning, Google Senior VP Andy Rubin mentioned that there are roughly six million activated Android tablets in the hands of consumers today.
