AT&T isn’t waiting for daylight to start announcing new Android phones, they have busted out a handful, one of which is the Motorola Atrix 2.  It looks like a decent refresh of the original Atrix, with a new body design, faster HSPA+ modem (it supports speeds up to 21Mbps), and ships with  Android 2.3.  We don’t have the full specs or parts list, so we don’t know if other internals have  [Read More…]

Cadillac took the wraps off of its new Cadillac CUE infotainment system on Tuesday in San Diego. We’re not, strictly speaking, looking at an Android product here. (Though it does run Linux, so that’s close enough, right?) But it absolutely concerns your Android smartphone on a couple of levels.

Cadillac CUE — that stands for Cadillac User Experience — is a gorgeous in-dash and in-console experience. On the dash side, you have a  [Read More…]

Was the Nexus Prime delayed due to patent issues? Probably not

Today, October 11, marks the day we were supposed to see the unveiling of the Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich. Unfortunately, the timing just wasn’t right. Google made a public statement four days ago, saying that they “believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs’ passing.” And that was that. We all know the Nexus will be detailed  [Read More…]
