Samsung to use 100% renewable energy in the U.S., China, and Europe by 2020

The renewable energy will be used at the company’s factories and offices.

On Thursday, June 14, Samsung announced a big change in the way it powers all of its operations. By 2020, the company aims to use 100% renewable energy at factories, offices, and operational facilities throughout the United States, China, and Europe.

WhatsApp will continue to work on Android Gingerbread until 2020

Support will officially end on February 1 of that year.

T-Mobile trades words with Verizon and AT&T, says it will launch a real 5G network by 2020

T-Mobile is going on the attack against Verizon and AT&T, saying that it will use its recently-acquired 600Mhz spectrum to launch a proper 5G network by 2020.

T-Mobile is coming out swinging against Verizon and AT&T, saying it will use the 31MHz of low-band 600MHz spectrum on which it spent nearly $ 8 billion to roll out a full nationwide 5G network by 2020, something that neither AT&T nor Verizon have committed to.

EE plans to have 95% of the UK covered with 4G by 2020

EE has announced the UK mobile operator is set to increase 4G coverage to 95% and bring back customer support to within country borders. The company will introduce 600 new positions across the UK and Ireland, which should please customers who both expect and appreciate customer support based in the UK.

Samsung Olympic partnership extended through 2020

Longtime Olympic sponsor Samsung has announced that it has extended its partnership with the OIC through to the 2020 Olympic Games. The move, confirmed at a signing ceremony in Nanjing, China today, will see the Korean electronics giant sponsoring the 2018 Winter Games and 2020 Summer Games in the “Wireless Communications Equipment and Computing Equipment” category.
