YouTube TV adds 16 Starz channels as a $9 add-on

That’s a lot of movies.

YouTube TV gained another optional add-on, bringing some 16 channels of Starz for $ 9 a month. As always, you’ll get a free seven-day trial before being charged, so you can test things out to see if you actually want to purchase the movie network.

That includes the East and West feeds of the main Starz and Starz encore channels, along with other offshoots of each.

Sprint has announced that it is adding 33 new countries to its Open World add-on, allowing users to get free calls, texts, and data when traveling in a whole host of new destinations.

Sprint’s Open World add-on makes it more affordable to travel to Mexico, Canada, and Latin America

Sprint has announced a new free add-on, called “Open World,” that brings a number of cool additions for frequent international callers and travelers. In all, the add-on offers free calls and texts to Canada and Mexico, along with rates starting at five cents for Latin American countries.

Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile offering data add-on packages

Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile began today offering new data add-on packages for subscribers  to purchase à la carte. Available in $ 5 and $ 10 options, the bundles provide 3G and 4G data which can temporarily bulk up an existing rate plan.

The $ 5 bundle allows for 1GB of data while the $ 10 bundle doubles down at 2GB of data. Interestingly enough, the fine print tells us that video streaming is limited to 3G speeds.
