Huawei under investigation for allegedly stealing trade secrets

Part of the case involves a dispute with T-Mobile from 2014.

Another day, another spout of bad news for Huawei. According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, the Chinese company is now being investigated by federal prosecutors for reportedly stealing trade secrets from T-Mobile in the United States.

Huawei CFO arrested in Canada for allegedly violating U.S. sanctions

Huawei CFO Wanzhou Meng was arrested in Canada at the request of U.S. law enforcement officials.

Canadian authorities have arrested Huawei CFO Wanzhou Meng on behalf of U.S. law enforcement officials. The Globe and Mail reports that Meng is currently being extradited to the U.S. on the suspicion she violated sanctions against Iran. She was arrested in Vancouver on December 1, with a court hearing set for December 7.
