T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II will be available Oct. 12 for $229 after contract, rebate

After a bit of a false start last month at Samsung’s U.S. Galaxy S II event, T-Mobile has finally and officially announced the release date, plus more details.

First and foremost, it’ll be available in stores Oct. 12 for $ 229.99 — after $ 50 rebate and with a two-year contract. You can preorder it online starting Oct. 10.

Gingerbread leak for the Samsung Infuse 4G now available

The Samsung Infuse 4G might finally see some Gingerbread soon, as build I997UCKI4 has leaked out for the 4.5 inch love child of a Captivate and a Galaxy Tab.  I know plenty of you have been waiting (and waiting) for the slightly late Gingerbread update, and seeing a 2.3.5 build leaked out is a good sign that something official is close.

Reported 3.2 update for Sony Tablet S available, more new features coming soon

Did you pick up a Sony Tablet S yet? The recently launched tablet came out of the blocks running Honeycomb 3.1, with a promise of an update to 3.2. Reportedly that promise has begun to come true today, with the 3.2 update becoming available for download.

Archos 80 G9 Honeycomb tablet now available in the UK for £199

We saw the first confirmation of US pricing for Archos’ new Honeycomb tablets last week, and now the 8-inch version has an official price tag in the UK, too.
