ZTE’s new Axon 10s Pro is the first Snapdragon 865-powered flagship phone

ZTE’s Nubia sub-brand is also expected to launch a Snapdragon 865-powered phone very soon.

What you need to know ZTE has announced the first smartphone featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset and LPDDR5 RAM. The new Axon 10s Pro sports a 6.47-inch AMOLED display and has a triple-camera setup at the back with a 48MP main sensor. Exact pricing and availability hasn’t been announced yet.

New ZTE Axon 7 update brings security patches, performance improvements

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about the ZTE Axon 7, but that’s changing today, and it’s good news for folks that are rocking that device.

ZTE has announced a new software update for the Axon 7. The update bumps the Axon 7 to build B35 and brings with it the December 2017 Android security patches, fixes for the Blueborne and KRACK vulnerabilities, and some other improvements and fixes.

Android 8.0 Oreo with ‘Stock+ UI’ coming to Axon 7 in April 2018

Don’t expect any Oreo updates until April.

The ZTE Axon 7 was one of 2016’s best mid-rangers, and earlier this month, it was confirmed that the phone would be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo at some point in 2018. Since then, ZTE Germany has taken to its official forums with a more precise time frame of when to expect the update.
