The KEY 2 LE is the new more affordable phone from BlackBerry

Calling all fans of BlackBerry and their hardware keyboard who would like to save some money. Today TCL and BlackBerry announced the new more affordable midrange KEY 2 LE at IFA 2018. BlackBerry KEYone in Canada is finally getting its official Oreo update

Now, where’s that Oreo update for the U.S.?

In mid-July, BlackBerry announced it was running an invite-only Android Oreo beta for the KEYone to trial the software update before rolling it out to all users. Starting today, August 15, that update is finally being released to all KEyone owners in Canada.

BlackBerry KEY2 LE images and spec details leak out

A new version of the BlackBerry KEY2 is coming soon.

The device you see above is the BlackBerry KEY2 LE. That’s according to a source speaking to Android Police, who shared photos and specs of the device. While the KEY2 LE looks similar to the standard KEY2, the KEY2LE appears to have a different keyboard that may not include the trackpad functionality found on the KEY2.

BlackBerry is back at it this time with their partner Optiemus to launch the Evolve and Evolve X in India. These two midrange phones include 6-inch 18:9 HD+ displays and massive 4000mAh batteries. However, they are lacking the physical keyboard you’d find on the Key 2.

BlackBerry Evolve & Evolve X now official: Here’s specs, news, and everything you need to know

BlackBerry’s latest phones have 18:9 displays, face unlock, and wireless charging.

BlackBerry’s Indian licensee Optiemus Infracom has launched the Evolve and Evolve X in the country. Both phones represent several firsts for the brand, including an 18:9 display, 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, wireless charging, and face unlock.
