Google Camera app updated for Android 5.0 Lollipop compatibility

Google’s own Camera app for Android devices has received an update today, and the big change is that it is now compatible with the upcoming Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

Oppo breaks out camera tech in new N3 teaser, possible fingerprint sensor

Looks like Oppo is still all about the teasers. On its Facebook page today, the company gave us a new look at the optics on the Oppo N3. The teaser reads “Precision Optics,” and features a blown-out view of the N3’s camera and sensors.

HTC launches One M8 Eye, Desire Eye and RE camera in India

After announcing the Desire Eye and RE camera in an event earlier this month, HTC has launched the devices in India. Also launched in the country is the One M8 Eye, which is essentially a One M8 with a 13 MP camera sensor.

Oppo N3 camera sensor detailed ahead of launch

After teasing a swiveling camera on the upcoming Oppo N3 yesterday, the company’s CEO took to Weibo to announce that the device will feature a 16 MP 1/2.3-inch camera sensor.

Oppo teases swiveling selfie camera on Oppo N3

With an announcement slated for the end of the month, Oppo is already teasing its new N3 phone. Though the company hasn’t announced specifics in terms of specs, but it did publish a photo of the new Oppo N3 phone with what appears to be a rotating rear camera module at the top of the device, which can be swiveled to be used as a front-facing camera similar to the Oppo N1t for high quality selfies.

Motorola Camera update adds remote shutter support for Android Wear

You can now use your Moto 360 to take a picture using the Motorola Camera app on your Motorola Moto X. An update to Motorola’s camera app today allows you to go full Moto inception, using your Android Wear smartwatch as a remote shutter on your Motorola phone.
