Everyone is getting into the 720p display game it seems, and Sony Ericsson is no exception.   The Xperia Arc HD (formerly known by it’s Nozomi code name) has finally shown up on camera, and it’s a stunner.  We don’t know the specifications just yet, but the juicy bits have been revealed — 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, front facing camera, Android 2.3.5, and of course the 4.3-inch 720p HD display @320dpi.   [Read More…]

T-Mobile: Apple still hasn’t made an iPhone for us, but how about that Amaze 4G camera


T-Mobile still doesn’t have an iPhone, in case you didn’t know. (A fact we’re perfectly OK with.) But it does have yet another news release explaining why. Apparently Apple won’t make one that will work on T-Mobile’s 3G and 4G networks. (Never mind that AT&T’s apparently trying to call its HSPA+ iPhone 4S a 4G device.)

Google Goggles updated, makes your camera smarter


Google Goggles, the application that uses pictures to search the web, has received an update to version 1.6 today. The 1.6 update promises to make your smartphone’s camera “smarter,” and can now be set to automatically scan all pictures taken from the camera application on your Android phone.
