Samsung Galaxy X foldable smartphone to launch in November, says Samsung’s mobile chief

Remember Samsung’s foldable smartphone that has been rumored forever? Well according to the company’s mobile division CEO DJ Koh, who recently talked to CNBC, the device will finally make a debut during Samsung’s Developer Conference. The event is scheduled to take place between November 7 and 8 in San Francisco.

DOJ Antitrust Chief likely won’t block the T-Mobile and Sprint merger

It looks like the merger may happen after all.

The Sprint and T-Mobile merger is expected to be completed by mid-2019, but before that happens, it needs to get approval from the proper government officials/agencies. We still have a ways to go, but at least according to the Antitrust Chief, the Department of Justice won’t give the merger much of a hassle.

Google’s Chief Game Designer leaves company, wants to actually design games again

Sometimes you realise it’s just time to move on.

Noah Falstein has left his post as Google’s Chief Game Designer after four years with the company, making the announcement official in a post on his blog. Falstein explains that he’s leaving because “the opportunity to actually build the big, consequential games” had “failed to materialize”.

The Nexus line is dead, says Android chief

The Pixel will be like any other Android phone in one important area.

Google’s Nexus line is dead, says Hiroshi Lockheimer, head of Android engineering at Google.

The Google executive spoke to Bloomberg about the decision this week as it launched its own Pixel phones, saying that “there is no plan right now to do more Nexus devices,” squashing the persistent rumors that the company was working with Huawei to built a Nexus 7 tablet successor.
