Xiaomi Mi 6X debuts in China with AI-powered dual cameras

The Xiaomi Mi 6X features the Redmi Note 5 display, low-cost Snapdragon SoC, and 4GB/6GB of RAM but also features two AI-integrated dual cameras. Xiaomi says its new AI cameras are better than the Oppo R15 and OnePlus 5T.

Huawei is working on an Alexa and Google Assistant competitor for China

It’s called “HiAssistant”, and it actually sounds fairly impressive.

Samsung has released a ‘Pirates of the Carribean’ themed Galaxy S8 in China

Ahoy Matey! Samsung has partnered with Disney for an interesting cross-promotion for the latest film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, offering a Pirates-themed version of the Galaxy S8.
