OnePlus confirms Nougat update uses proper kernel, will remove debug tools that caused confusion

After some confusion, OnePlus says there’s nothing to worry about in its kernel.

A few tidbits of information swirled yesterday about the Nougat update for the OnePlus 3 and 3T in regards to what kernel it was using. Moto responds to iFixit battery size confusion

There’s been some hubbub in the past few hours over the Moto 360 not having the size battery it claimed — iFixit’s teardown showed 300 mAh versus 320 mAh claimed on the spec sheet. Perhaps not a huge difference, but every little bit of juice counts in a smartwatch, particularly since the 360 has proven to be a little finicky.

Motorola has responded to inquiries about the matter, and they gave a statement to ComputerWorld.

Samsung Apps finally rebranded to ‘Galaxy Apps’ to help with platform confusion

Though Samsung claimed the change would come several days ago, the Samsung Apps store has just rebranded itself to Galaxy Apps with an update to the application. Coming with the rebrand to the “Galaxy” name is a slight change in visual styling of the app to darker shades of blue and a few new animations, though the app overall performs much the same as it did before.
