Let’s face it, that Verizon will start charging an extra $ 2 a month to pay your bill in certain ways kinda sucks, no two ways about it. But companies don’t do these sort of things just to see how we’ll react. They know a goodly number of people will just pay their $ 24 a year and go about their business.

FCC concerned about Verizon’s $2 convenience fee, looking into the matter

The FCC, who has surprisingly been all up in every carriers business as of late has now spoken about Verizon’s $ 2 convenience fee that will go into effect as of January 15th.

“On behalf of American consumers, we’re concerned about Verizon’s actions and are looking into the matter,”

Verizon Wireless has had quite the month. Their “most reliable” 4G LTE network went down again yesterday, marking the third time Verizon’s data network has been unavailable in December. The Galaxy Nexus was delayed multiple times, as was the DROID 4. And today’s news doesn’t do much to instill a sense of confidence in Verizon’s customers for 2012.
