Cricket now offers data-only plans

Cricket this week began offering data-only plans for its subscribers, making them available for devices such as mobile hotspots or tablets. Called “Simply Data”, there are three options with prices starting as low as $ 25 per month.

Although these are data plans, they do include unlimited SMS and MMS capabilities; there is no voice service or international messaging.

Google is making it easier than ever to get cricket updates via Assistant

You’ll be able to get a summary of the day’s cricketing action just by asking Google Assistant.

The IPL season is in full swing in India, and Google is introducing new capabilities to Google Assistant to make it easier for fans to follow all the action. You’ll be able to get a summary of the day’s matches by asking Assistant on your phone or Google Home to “Play news from ESPNcricinfo.”

Nokia phones now offered at Verizon and Cricket

It might have taken a few years but Nokia phones have returned to the US market. At least in a manner formally offered by wireless carriers.

As of January 25 the Nokia 3.1 Plus can be purchased through AT&T prepaid subsidiary Cricket Wireless. What’s more, a few days from now (January 31) Verizon will carry the Nokia 2 V.

Cricket now allows talk, text, and data in Mexico for certain customers

Customers that have a $ 50/month or more expensive plan are eligible.

Cricket Wireless, the popular MVNO powered by AT&T’s network, is getting a big upgrade for customers that travel to Mexico.

Starting today, anyone that’s on a $ 50/month or more expensive plan has access to unlimited talk, text, and data in Mexico at no extra cost.

Cricket now offering Moto E5 Supra

Motorola recently announced which carriers will support its recently introduced Moto G6 and Moto E5 phones. In short, the Moto G6 and G6 Play, Moto E5 Plus and E5 Play will be available in the US through a variety of carriers.
