Disney+ subscription service launches in late 2019

After years of rumors and pixie-dust-fueled pipe dreams, Disney is finally ready to make its move in media subscriptions.

If you’re a Disney fan, you know that trying to find its movies and TV shows online has been something of a quagmire. Some are on Netflix, some are on Hulu, some are on STARZ, some are only accessible with a cable subscription, and some are only available if you outright purchase them. It’s a hot mess, and Disney knows  [Read More…]

Try one of these royally dark Disney themes

Call me a princess. I dare you.

Emoji can say a million things, and while they should translate across platforms and people easily, the truth is, they don’t, especially on Android. This is doubly true for custom emoji keyboards on Android, which are all either  [Read More…]

If you’re buying Beauty and the Beast, make sure to connect Disney Movies Anywhere

Most digital copies are a letdown. Disney’s are not.

We’ve all seen it: buy the movie before it’s out on Blu-ray, and you don’t get any special features, and your copy is stuck in one store forever. It sucks, right? WRONG! Disney has a digital system that makes buying the movie early an actually tempting thing to do, and it all has to do with connecting digital stores and awesome app implementation.

Color By Disney review: premium subscription for a not-so-premium coloring app

Back in college, if I’d been caught coloring in my secret stash of Disney coloring pages, I’d have some explaining to do.

Nowadays, though, coloring books need no explanation, as they’ve seen a massive resurgence among adults who are looking for an easy way to escape daily stress and find some inner peace. But you can’t exactly carry around your 128-color case of pencils and that big book of mandalas for coloring on the train, during your  [Read More…]
