G Suite users are gaining the ability to compare documents in Google Docs

Google is making it easier to see and accept edit suggestions made between two documents.

What you need to know A new “compare documents” option is rolling out to Google Docs for G Suite customers. You’ll be able to highlight the differences between two documents, then create a new file containing those changes. Rapid Release domains will receive this feature over the next 15 days.

UK docs suggest Facebook skirted Android permissions dialog

A UK parliamentary committee released a series of documents today which reveal, among other things, that Facebook knew triggering an Android permissions dialog during an app update that would collect SMS and call logs would lead to “bad PR” and allegedly attempted to circumvent the process in order to make it difficult for Android users to discover the new behavior.

Google adds Keep to G Suite with Docs integration

Google announced today that it has added its notekeeping app Google Keep to its cloud-based G Suite. If you’ve got a G Suite-enabled account, you’ll now find Keep alongside your other G Suite apps in the G Suite menu.
