Counter-Strike 1.6 can be played on an Android phone with some extra effort

While Valve isn’t planning to release a native version of its classic PC multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike 1.6 in the Google Play Store, someone has figured out a way to get the game running on Android phones.

Intel to lay off 12,000 employees in major restructuring effort

Confirming previous rumors, Intel has announced a major restructuring that will result in 12,000 of its employees being laid off by mid-2017. That will represent about 11% of the company’s workforce.

The chip company says the move is part of its plans to “accelerate its evolution from a PC company to one that powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.” Intel says:

T-Mobile takes to the sky in effort to protest overage charges

T-Mobile CEO John Legere took to a vlog today to continue to call out other carriers for their overage charges, specifically calling out AT&T and Verizon. In the vlog, Legere talks about his recent petition to end carrier overages, which garnered more than 330,000 signatures.
