Amazon enhances tablet line with Show Mode, new Fire HD 10 Kids Edition

Amazon on Thursday announced a couple of new additions to its ever-growing Fire tablet lineup. First up, Show Mode and a new Show Mode Charging Dock, are coming to existing (Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10) tablets. Additionally, Amazon has introduced a new Fire HD 10 Kids Edition tablet.

Games in Motion enhances exercise with the addition of missions on your wrist

Google is attempting to make working out a little better by adding some fun to the exercise.

Games in Motion is the latest set of sample code from Google that gives developers an idea of how to integrate additional Android Wear functionality to make working out a little better. Knowing that it can be hard to keep motivated on runs, Google is hoping that being able to complete missions while running will make it better.

Twitter enhances photo experience for mobile apps

Twitter this week is updating its mobile apps for Android and iOS with enhanced photo features. First, users can now attach up to four images to a tweet when composing a status update. What’s more, users can also tag up to ten friends in a photo; friends will be notified if tagged. For what it’s worth, tagging pictures does not affect your 140-character status limit.
