Samsung Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab 10.1 appear poised for US Cellular

It’s long been rumored that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 would be headed to US Cellular. And now, thanks to USCC’s ESN system, it looks like the Galaxy S II is headed that way as well. Neither device has been officially announced by the regional carrier. But given the depth of its current roster of Android smartphones and tablets, it’s probably just a matter of time.

Samsung caves to consumer demands, taking a second look at Android 4.0 for the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab

Only a few days after Samsung announced that the Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab would not be updated to Android 4.0, the company has caved in to consumer outcry and is now taking a second look at the update to see if they can find a way to squeeze in TouchWiz, carrier bloatware, video calling and Android 4.0 on the limited ROM space they have to work with on both devices.

Word on the streeets of Korea today is that Samsung is taking another look at possibly getting an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the original Galaxy S smartphone and 7-inch Galaxy Tab tablet, after previously saying it wasn’t going to happen. Hey, that’d be great. Sure would make a lot of people happy.
