BlackBerry KEYone ‘Black Edition’ goes worldwide, bringing bumped specs and a higher price

The black BlackBerry is going global.

BlackBerry KEYone sales have turned out to be surprisingly strong, and to give them an extra little boost BlackBerry Mobile is releasing a new color of the phone with bumped specs around the world. The Black Edition, as you’d expect, has shed its silver and grey adornments for a full blacked-out look. Galaxy S8 pre-orders were 30% higher than Galaxy S7’s record number

People are turning out in droves to buy the Galaxy S8.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ have been received very positively, and it seems consumers are responding by opening up their wallets as well. Samsung has announced that pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ were a full 30% higher than the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge last year, which in itself was a previous record.

Kodi update brings new skins, higher Android version requirement, and 4K optimizations

One of the best ways to watch streaming content just got a big update.

Amazon Echo holiday sales 9 times higher than 2015, ‘millions’ sold this year

The holiday shopping season has been good to Amazon, and particularly Echo.

Sprint reports higher post-paid subscriber additions but still hit with net loss

Sprint has reported its latest financial numbers for the first quarter of fiscal year 2016. While the wireless carrier stated it had the highest post-paid subscriber additions for the quarter in nine years, it still had a net loss of $ 302 million, which was bigger than the $ 20 million it lost from the same period a year ago. The company recorded operating revenues of $ 8 billion during the quarter.

Higher prices and lower data caps will come for Manitobans if Bell-MTS deal is approved

The battle for the future of Canadian wireless is taking place in the Prairies.

Manitoban consumers see higher prices in their future if regulators approve a $ 3.9 billion deal for BCE Inc to purchase Manitoba Telecom Services Inc.
