Over 100 areas will be supported by the end of 2018.

T-Mobile extends free high-speed roaming in Europe and South America until end of 2016

T-Mobile extends roaming privileges until the end of 2016.

T-Mobile always finds a way to put itself in the news. The company has announced that it will be extending free high-speed roaming to postpaid customers until the end of 2016. The original plan was supposed to expire at the end of September.

Google brings high-speed public Wi-Fi to nine more train stations in India

Back in January Google rolled out its first wave of high-speed Wi-Fi to train stations in India, and now the company has added nine more stations. With more than 100,000 people already logging into the Wi-Fi each week, Google’s main goal is to make it available to more than 10 million Indians every day.

Google launches free high-speed public Wi-Fi at Mumbai Central

Late last year, Google CEO Sundar Pichai outlined a project that would bring free public Wi-Fi access to over 400 train stations across India. Today, the search giant has rolled out the service at Mumbai Central, a railway station through which over 100,000 people pass through on a daily basis. Over 100 stations will be covered by the end of 2016, with Allahabad, Patna, Jaipur and Ranchi next in line to get free Wi-Fi.
