Google adds Google Assistant integration to the Nest x Yale smart lock

Starting today, you’ll be able to control your Nest x Yale smart lock with Google Assistant voice commands. That means you’ll be able to simply tell Assistant (via your phone or Google Home) to lock the door, and it’ll do the heavy lifting. Android and Chrome OS will reportedly get ‘Better Together’ integration

The features are expected to launch next week.

Chrome OS to soon offer ‘integration’ with Android Messages

We’ve only been waiting forever for this.

Chrome OS is rapidly becoming a more practical replacement for Windows and macOS machines with every passing day, but one area that’s still lacking is proper tie-ins with Android. According to new commits in the Chromium Gerrit, however, this is going to start changing with proper integration with Android Messages.

Google Home now lets you play back music from India’s leading music streaming services ahead of April 10 launch.

Yesterday, Google confirmed that it was launching the Google Home and Google Home Mini in India, with a launch event scheduled for April 10. The landing page for the product is now live on Flipkart, suggesting the retailer will be the exclusive destination for Google’s upcoming smart speakers.
