After launching the 5- and 5.5-inch variants of the ZenFone 2 Laser in India, ASUS is now making the 6-inch model available in the country. The ZenFone 2 Laser 6 is now up for sale later tonight at Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon for ₹17,999 ($ 275), and will make its way to retail stores from the second week of December.
Folks in the U.S. can now get in on their very own model of the ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser, and thankfully for us stateside it has better internals than the model offered internationally. Thankfully again, ASUS isn’t charging any more for it than the original ZenFone 2 from earlier this year — prices start at $ 199 for a 16GB model and bump up to $ 249 for the 32GB, with all other specs staying the same.

Asus on Monday introduced its next Android smartphone, the ZenFone 2 Laser. Available immediately, the handset is unlocked and can worth with a variety of US-based LTE bands.

Though ASUS sells a ZenFone 2 Laser in multiple regions around the world, it actually comes in a couple different configurations. In the U.S. we get the ZE551KL model, which is actually quite different from the international model. It has a larger screen, and higher-end specs all around.

ASUS initially announced plans to launch the latest in the ZenFone 2 series, the ZenFone 2 Laser, in India on September 19, but it looks like the manufacturer preponed the handset’s availability following a favorable reception toward its phones. After receiving 10,000 orders during the third day of the pre-order window, the Laser is now available on Flipkart for ₹9,999 ($ 155).
