LG’s Nexus 5X is now available for purchase in select launch markets

The Nexus 5X is now available for purchase in select markets. LG has announced that the company’s third Nexus smartphone can be ordered on the Google Store and at participating retailers in Canada, India, Ireland, Korea, Japan, and the UK and US. Additional markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America are expected to follow suit in the coming weeks.

OnePlus X should launch October 29

The third smartphone from OnePlus is expected to launch in but two week’s time. That is, of course, provided a recent tweet and Facebook post from the handset maker is to be believed.

Hulu will launch a Virtual Reality app alongside the $99 Samsung Gear VR

Hulu, the second name you probably think of when you think of streaming media, announced that they will have a Virtual Reality app ready to go when the Samsung Gear VR launches in November. The $ 99 Virtual Reality device will launch next month ahead of competitors Oculus, HTC and Sony and will hopefully lead the charge of personal virtual reality devices. Hulu is ready to make its first steps into VR territory starting in November. It was previously announce that Hulu would be coming to the Samsung Gear VR headset this fall, but Hulu’s head of distribution, Tim Connolly, has now confirmed the app will launch alongside the new Gear VR headset in November.
