Google Lens now has a standalone app you can download

Available in the Play Store right now.

Google Lens is still far from perfect, but new features are steadily making it a tool that’s worth using with each passing day. To ensure everyone can access Lens in the blink of an eye, Google’s added a standalone app that you can download from the Play Store now.

How to use Google Lens in Google Photos

Google Lens is the search giant’s new method for recognizing content in your photos, and making information available to you. This includes offering language translations, bring up reviews and menus for restaurants, and giving background information on monuments and landmarks. Google Lens in Assistant now available for OnePlus 3/3T and 5/5T owners

Google Lens in Assistant is now available for owners of the OnePlus 3/3T and 5/5T. Previously the feat was only available on flagships like the Galaxy S8/S9, Note 8 and LG V30.
