Merge VR launches $1 million fund to fuel VR and AR developers

There are a lot of great ideas out there — they just need the resources to make them happen.

Hoping to spur VR and AR development to grow the platforms even further, Merge VR has announced it is launching a $ 1 million fund for developers who build for Merge platforms. Several studios are participating in the Merge VR Developer Fund, including React VRX, Draw & Code, Steelehouse Productions and Chicken Waffle.

Softbank still wants Sprint and T-Mobile to merge

If at first you don’t succeed …

CNBC reports that Softbank still has goals of a Sprint / T-Mobile merger becoming a valid number three carrier in the U.S. and it has a novel way of getting it to happen this time: giving control of Sprint to Deutsche Telekom and becoming a minor partner in a new combined network.

T-Mobile might merge with Sprint or buy US Cellular in 2017, says Morgan Stanley

Rumors of a possible merger between two of America’s biggest carriers, T-Mobile and Sprint have been floating around for quite some time. A previous attempt by Sprint to buy the Magenta carrier fell through in 2014, after the Federal Communication Commission intervened. Deus Ex GO will merge cyberpunk with turn-based gaming this summer

Square Enix has announced Deus Ex GO, a new mobile turn-based puzzle game from the team behind Hitman GO and Tomb Raider GO. Deus Ex GO, based on the cyberpunk PC and console game franchise, will be released this summer.

Microsoft’s new Skype bot Project Murphy can merge two things into one

Microsoft launched support for text chat bots in Skype earlier this week and now a new bot made by the company is showing off what these AI creations can do. “Project Murphy” adds a new bot to your Skype contacts and then you can ask it “What if…” questions. The end result is a merging of two images that attempts to answer that question.
