It might surprise some of you to know that companies like Boost Mobile and Cricket Wireless operate on the Sprint and AT&T networks, respectively. These network operators license the towers and coverage from the tier-one providers and offer their own phones, rate plans, and customer service.

Let’s take a look at another, similar situation. Metro, formerly known as MetroPCS, is a prepaid brand that uses T-Mobile’s network for coverage.

Coolpad is launching a new phone on Metro today called the Legacy.

For $ 129.99, you get Android 9 Pie, a 4,000 mAh battery, and a 6.36-inch FHD+ display. Staples like a dual camera, fingerprint sensor, and QuickCharge 3.0 over USB-C are also included alongside the altogether reasonable pricetag.
