Super Bowl to be streamed to the NFL Mobile app on Verizon devices

The NFL on Thursday announced that Super Bowl XLVI will be streamed to the web and mobile devices — including the NFL Mobile Android app available on Verizon devices. Additionally, the wild-card games and Pro Bowl also will be streamed. You’ll get the same features we’ve long enjoyed on Sunday night games, including additional camera angles, in-game highlights and live statistics.

Google+ adds ability to start a hangout from mobile devices

Google+ will soon get a new update that makes it possible to initiate a Hangout directly from the Google+ Mobile app for Android. Announced a short while ago on the company’s official blog, Google+ will feature a button that makes it possible to tap a video icon and begin face-to-face chat, or face-to-face-to-face with up 10 people in a group hangout.
