Alphabet posts revenue of $26 billion as hardware unit gains momentum

Alphabet’s Other Bets are starting to pay off.

Google’s parent company Alphabet posted Q4 2016 earnings of $ 26 billion, an increase of 22% from the $ 21.3 billion it netted during the same period in 2015. Profits also saw a healthy increase to $ 5.3 billion, up $ 300 million from last quarter.

LG G4 Note rumors gain momentum; Possible date leaked

T-Mobile continues momentum, passes Sprint to become third biggest US carrier

T-Mobile is now the nation’s third biggest wireless carrier. The “Un-Carrier”, headed up by brash CEO John Legere announced that T-Mobile added 2.1 million customers last quarter, pulling them past Sprint into third.

After months of speculation, including statements from the CEO himself as far back as February, it seems official that T-Mobile has finally surpassed Sprint. T-Mobile now boasts an impressive 58.9 million customers and has added at least one million more customers each of the last nine quarters.  [Read More…]

Samsung to ‘adjust’ pricing of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge to maintain sales momentum

In its Q2 2015 earnings report, Samsung announced that it will keep sales momentum going for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge into the latter half of the year by “adjusting” their pricing:
