Fleksy Keyboard version 2.1 rolling out with 6 new languages, bug fixes, and more!

For those of you who use the quick-typing giant Fleksy Keyboard, you should be receiving a pretty notable update today. The update mainly brings support for 6 new languages, altered keyboard layouts (depending on what language you’re using), and a bunch of bug fixes.

Verizon announces new More Everything deals for April 17

Verizon Wireless on Monday announced some new changes to its More Everything plans set to take effect later this week. Effective April 17, customers on a month-to-month plan can switch over to a More Everything plan and take advantage of the savings. Google ‘Moonshine’ may bring Android app icons more in line with web counterparts

A couple of the more immediately-noticeable changes that the update to Android 4.4 brought with it are the changes to the status and navigation bars. Both became more transparent, and the status bar icons for things like signal strength, time and battery all turned white. Apparently Google may have some more UI tweaks in the works, as a new rumor claims that the company is prepping some new app icons for its Android apps.

Xiaomi Mi3 successor reported to sport more metal and a Snapdragon 801 chip

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is set to announce the Mi3S, a successor to the gorgeous looking Mi3 Android smartphone. According to myDrives, the new device will have an enhanced metallic design, as well as some shiny new specifications to boast about. The first is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, which will be joined by 3GB RAM, LTE and a 13MP rear shooter.

US Cellular to fire up LTE at more than 1200 sites in 2014

Fifth-place US carrier US Cellular (yes, there is a fifth place behind the all-swallowing big four) plans to dramatically expand their LTE footprint this year by the number of 1200 sites. They’ll be switching on new 4G services in 13 states, and by the end of the year plan to cover 93% of their customers. HTC Q1 2014 earnings show sizeable losses once more

HTC’s unaudited earnings for Q1 2014 are out and it doesn’t make for particularly positive reading. The Taiwanese firm has announced a net loss of NT$ 1.88 billion on revenue of NT$ 33.12 billion. This is way down on the modest profit made in the final quarter of 2013, though there are factors to consider.
