In light of Motorola‘s sale to Lenovo, the company’s UK managing director Andrew Morley is set to leave after joining Motorola back in 2010. This departure follows CEO Dennis Woodside stepping down back in September, soon after Google sold its mobile company to Lenovo.
Moto has pushed a small update to the Motorola Migrate app this afternoon. Motorola Migrate is their ingenious application that help users from other phones move to the Moto X, Moto G, Droid Maxx, Ultra and Mini by transferring data that you may not have saved to the cloud. It even imports your data from iCloud.
Motorola Mobility has a new President and COO: Rick Osterloh. Formerly SVP of Product, Osterloh is taking over the helm of Motorola from form CEO Dennis Woodside. Woodside, if you’ll recall, stepped down in September to take a position as COO of Dropbox, following Google’s selling of Motorola to Lenovo.
Motorola Mobility has announced Rick Osterloh as the new President and COO. Osterloh is stepping into the role of former CEO Dennis Woodside who is now the COO of Dropbox. Hopefully Osterloh can steer Motorola into the right direction especially after the acquisition from Lenovo.

Motorola are rumored to be launching their 6.3-inch phablet called the XPlay around Q3 2014. Reports indicate that Motorola have decided to drop the XPlay name, and may just be calling it the next Moto X. Specs are currently uncertain but speculation suggests the Moto XPlay will include a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM, and the Jelly Bean version of Android.
