The OnePlus 5T is no longer for sale in North America

OnePlus has stopped selling the 5T to North American customers.

OnePlus has a certain pattern with its phone releases: there is a new release about every six months, and it stops selling the current model before the new one is announced. To that end, OnePlus has stopped sales of the 5T before announcing the OnePlus 6.

PUBG Mobile is coming to North America, available first in Canada

Amazon Echo devices can now make free calls in North America

All Amazon Echo devices can now make free calls to the US, Canada, and Mexico without any additional hardware.

Amazon has been adding a steady stream of features to its Echo device family dating back to the release of the first Echo back in 2014. In May, the company announced the ability for Echo owners to make free calls to any Alexa-enabled device, including smartphones with the Alexa app. Now, Amazon is expanding that even further.

ZTE guilty of violating U.S. sanctions, will pay $892 million for shipping goods to Iran and North Korea

A massive settlement in the U.S. follows years of wrongdoing.

ZTE has plead guilty to allegations that it violated U.S. laws relating to its involvement in the transfer of U.S. telecom equipment to both Iran and North Korea, as well as lying to federal investigators by insisting that such shipments had stopped. The settlement of $ 892 million and guilty plea relates to a period between 2010 and 2016 when ZTE shipped over $ 30 million in U.S.-based products  [Read More…]
