Happy Easter! Let’s talk about the next Samsung Galaxy Note.
At the start of Galaxy S8 launch week, the last thing Samsung wants to do is reflect on the Note series. However, the imminent arrival of a 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+ (albeit in the same sized body, roughly, as the Note 7), poses an interesting question: Do we need a Galaxy Note this year? This week, Daniel is joined by Alex Dobie, Florence Ion and Jerry Hildenbrand to talk about the Galaxy S8, and whether some of the things that have been criticized about it will be fixed in the Galaxy Note 8 later this year. Will Samsung return the Note series to its specs-heavy glory, or choose to keep specs and features conservative after a rough 2016?
And the LG G6 is available this week, and it’s better than we expected it to [Read More…]

Photos of what’s said to be the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 have been posted to SamsungVN. Unsurprisingly, the device looks like a Galaxy Note 7, but the phone identifies itself as SM-N935, [Read More…]
Samsung is bringing the Note 7 back from the dead with a smaller battery that is probably safe.
First, Samsung said it wasn’t going to be selling refurbished Galaxy Note 7 phones with newer, smaller batteries. Then it had a change of heart and decided to do just that, and even gave us some poetry about the situation.
Applicability is dependent upon consultations with regulatory authorities and carriers as well as due consideration of local demand.
Now we get [Read More…]
