Samsung recently gave more details on the availability of the Galaxy Note across Europe. The device launched over the weekend in Germany, and will roll out across the UK and mainland Europe between now and Nov. 25 on a variety of carriers.

Samsung Italy apparently confirms what we already guessed — new Tabs, Galaxy S II, and Galaxy note to get Ice Cream Sandwich

According to the Italian blog Android.HD, Samsung has confirmed that they will be providing the Ice Cream Sandwich update to their latest top-tier devices. Phones and tablets set to get a bit of the latest tasty treat are:

Samsung Galaxy Note hits the FCC with AT&T radios

Sliding QWERTY LG Optimus Note Spied

A new press photo leaked out of South Korea yesterday, showing another sliding QWERTY handset from LG. Called the Optimus Note, it’s said to feature a 1.2GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 4-inch WVGA NOVA display, and 5-megapixel cameraa. Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with a custom LG launcher, additional specs include a front-facing VGA camera, 8GB internal storage, and WiFi Direct capability. Here’s a great demo of the drawing capabilities on the Samsung Galaxy Note, that gianormous 5.3-inch uber-drawing/notetaking smartphone. Of course, you’re going to need some sort of artistic talent to begin with, but you get a sense of how detailed you can get with the stylus.

Samsung’s Unpacked App Reveals Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Note

Samsung has unwittingly revealed 3 new devices that it plans to announce at IFA next week. These were discovered when one Android fan went poking around the APK of Samsung’s Unpacked app and found logos of the new devices.
