BlackBerry KEYone in Canada is finally getting its official Oreo update

Now, where’s that Oreo update for the U.S.?

In mid-July, BlackBerry announced it was running an invite-only Android Oreo beta for the KEYone to trial the software update before rolling it out to all users. Starting today, August 15, that update is finally being released to all KEyone owners in Canada.

Red Hydrogen One phone official release delayed with early access for developers

Some bad news good news here for all you Red fans hoping to try out their Hydrogen One phone with the holographic display. The bad news is, it won’t be as soon as you had hoped because of more delays. The Moto Z3 is official and coming to Verizon on August 16

BlackBerry Evolve & Evolve X now official: Here’s specs, news, and everything you need to know

BlackBerry’s latest phones have 18:9 displays, face unlock, and wireless charging.

BlackBerry’s Indian licensee Optiemus Infracom has launched the Evolve and Evolve X in the country. Both phones represent several firsts for the brand, including an 18:9 display, 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, wireless charging, and face unlock.

Original Pixel and Pixel 2 gain official LineageOS 15.1 support

CyanogenMod was formerly the most popular custom ROM for Android devices. It even came pre-installed on a number of handset including the OnePlus One.

But while CyanogenMod ceased to exist a few years back, you can still download and install its successor, LineageOS, on select devices. This includes most of Google’s Nexus devices, but interestingly enough the newer Pixel models weren’t part of the list. But not anymore.
