Waze kicks of carpooling pilot program in San Francisco

If you live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area, you may get a chance to test a new carpooling feature in Waze. The Google-owned navigation app has officially begun testing the new carpooling service in the Bay Area, aiming to take a stab at making the process of setting up rides with others easier while also helping to cut down on road congestion.

Telus begins VoLTE pilot in British Columbia on select Android phones

Telus, Canada’s second-largest wireless provider, has launched Voice Over LTE, or VoLTE, as a pilot in a small area of the British Columbia Lower Mainland before rolling it out to the rest of the country.

Currently available for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4, with other devices to come in the “near future,” according to a support page for the service, Telus notes that there are multiple benefits to using VoLTE:

Project Ara’s Puerto Rico pilot market launch may be delayed

Project Ara, which is Google’s effort to create a smartphone using quickly changed modular parts, is looking like it has hit a snag. 2016 Honda Pilot debuts with Android
