Pioneer’s Android Auto head units updated for better ‘voice guidance’

A new firmware update is available for Pioneer’s Android Auto-compatible head units.

The update to version 1.05x brings to all models — that’s the 4100NEX, 7100NEX, and 8100NEX in the U.S. and Canada — the following:

Improvement of voice guidance Minor bug fixes

In addition, the 7100NEX and 8100NEX are receiving support for AVICSYNC, which improves the built-in navigation features.
