Apple’s new hardware will be announced on September 12.

This coming Wednesday, Apple is holding its annual fall event where we’ll likely be introduced to the next generation of iPhones. This year, we’re expecting three different models that all adopt the iPhone X’s bezel-less design.

Sprint tries to lure new customers with Unlimited Premium plan

America’s underdog carrier, Sprint, has revealed a new Unlimited Premium smartphone plan. And it looks like a pretty sweet deal…except for the whole Sprint thing. Let’s take a look at just want the Pindrop network has with this new plan.

Sprint’s new $90/month Unlimited Premium plan sounds kind of awesome

The price goes down to $ 80/month if you bring your own device.

Unreal Mobile now offers an $8/month hotspot plan

Unreal Mobile this week announced a new Wi-Fi hotspot device and a dedicated plan for it. It’s hard to imagine being without an Internet connection today and the MVNO wants to help you stay connected at all times.

The hotspot device costs $ 20 and for the first year of service, you’ll be required to pay $ 8 per month. This will ensure you’ll be able to get a Wi-Fi connection wherever you are.

T-Mobile Essential plan debuts with unlimited basics

For those of you who don’t care about traveling outside of the US, or using mobile hotspots, consider T-Mobile’s latest rate plan, T-Mobile Essentials. Set to commence on August 10, the provider’s new ‘Essential’ offering is an unlimited plan with no frills.

Pricing starts at just $ 60 per month for the first line, provided you are set up on the automatic bill payment. A second line runs $ 30 per month; lines 3-6 cost just $ 15 per month.

Sprint retires its Unlimited Freedom plan, offers two new “unlimited” options instead

While awaiting the merger with T-Mobile, Sprint this week took the opportunity to unveil two new unlimited data plans, which will replace its single Sprint Unlimited Freedom plan.

The nation’s fourth-largest wireless provider is basically splitting its current unlimited data plan into two new plans with different data allotments and restrictions. Interestingly enough, both are still referred to as “unlimited”.

Sprint’s adding a $70/month unlimited plan and neutering its $60/month one

The word “unlimited” is truly meaningless at this point.

U.S. carriers seem to have a hard time understanding what the word “unlimited” means, and most recently, this point is being proven once again with changes coming to Sprint’s plans.

Sprint currently offers one plan called Unlimited Freedom, but starting Friday, July 13, it’s being laid to rest in favor of Unlimited Basic and Unlimited Plus.
