Sprint retires its Unlimited Freedom plan, offers two new “unlimited” options instead

While awaiting the merger with T-Mobile, Sprint this week took the opportunity to unveil two new unlimited data plans, which will replace its single Sprint Unlimited Freedom plan.

The nation’s fourth-largest wireless provider is basically splitting its current unlimited data plan into two new plans with different data allotments and restrictions. Interestingly enough, both are still referred to as “unlimited”.

Sprint’s adding a $70/month unlimited plan and neutering its $60/month one

The word “unlimited” is truly meaningless at this point.

U.S. carriers seem to have a hard time understanding what the word “unlimited” means, and most recently, this point is being proven once again with changes coming to Sprint’s plans.

Sprint currently offers one plan called Unlimited Freedom, but starting Friday, July 13, it’s being laid to rest in favor of Unlimited Basic and Unlimited Plus.

UNREAL Mobile officially launches, lowers its unlimited plan to $10/month

More than 50,000 people signed up for beta access in under four weeks.

On May 23, FreedomPop announced it was launching a spinoff MVNO called “UNREAL Mobile” that would offer unlimited plans starting at just $ 15/month. Less than four weeks since that announcement was made, UNREAL Mobile is now going live with an even better deal than what was initially offered.

Verizon announces new Above Unlimited plan, mix-and-match option for families

Verizon this week unveiled a new “Above Unlimited” plan which will become available starting Monday, June 18. On top of that, the nation’s biggest carrier also announced that from now on subscribes on a family plan will be able to mix and match unlimited plans to suit their own personal needs.

Verizon announces its third unlimited plan that costs $95/month

TextNow unveils super affordable unlimited LTE plan for $39.99/month

If you ever needed proof that technology and services are getting more affordable over time, this offering would have to be on your shortlist.

Mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) TextNow announced this week a new unlimited data plan that costs only $ 39.99/month. It’s perhaps the most affordable single-line unlimited option available on the market right now.

Do you plan on upgrading to the Galaxy Note 9?

Samsung’s playing it safe this year.

Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 surfaced on June 6, and to not much surprise, revealed that the phone will look eerily similar to the Note 8.

We’re still expecting the Note 9 to come equipped with a faster processor, new software features, and improved cameras, but when it comes to its design, it doesn’t appear that we’ll be seeing much change at all.

Sprint’s new Unlimited 55+ plan for seniors is now available

Sprint has unveiled a new unlimited plan targeting people over 55. Under Unlimited 55+ users can get two unlimited lines of service for $ 35/month.
