What new Samsung phone do you plan on buying in 2019?

So many to choose from.

2019 has officially arrived, and with a new year comes new resolutions, goals, and — of course — tech. Throughout the year, one company you’ll want to really keep an eye on is Samsung.

In regards to its flagship phone releases for the year, we’re expecting to see the Galaxy S10, S10 Lite, S10 Plus, a special 5G version of the S10, the Galaxy Note 10, and Samsung’s foldable “Galaxy X” phone.

Deal for switchers: Sprint’s Unlimited Basic plan is $20/month for five lines

If you’ve been wanting to change your wireless carrier for a while now, the holiday season might be the best time to do so, with all the promotions coming in.

Case in point, Sprint is currently offering a holiday deal aimed at switchers. The carrier is giving new customers who agree to jump on board with an Unlimited Basic Plan under its umbrella, three free lines of services.

AT&T Prepaid offering free Alcatel Tetra with plan

AT&T Prepaid is, for a limited time, offering customers the opportunity to pick up a free phone with service. The deal runs from today through January 10, 2019 and sees the Alcatel Tetra going for free with a new line of service.

To qualify for the phone, the subscriber must sign up for Auto Pay, the automatic monthly bill payment. Note that this offer, and others, is only available at participating AT&T locations.

Google CEO announces new action plan following Andy Rubin fiasco

Google says it’ll be more transparent and responsible going forward.

The last couple of weeks haven’t been great ones for Google. A New York Times report in late October claimed that Google had paid Andy Rubin $ 90 million as an “exit package” following reports of sexual harassment from 2013. This was followed by a company-wide walkout earlier in the month, and following all of that, CEO Sundar Pichai is finally responding.

Apple’s new hardware will be announced on September 12.
