HTC India has been hosting a media event to officially launch the regular M8 there, but the bigger news is this potential  [Read More…]

Android 4.4.3 tipped for Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition by Bluetooth SIG

There are so many groups and organizations that certify devices for compatibility and safety, so it’s not terribly surprising when one of those groups publishes data on something that’s yet to be announced — like Android 4.4.3. Earlier this week saw Sprint announcing an update to Android 4.4.3 for the Nexus 5, and today it’s the Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s turn. Amazing Spider-Man 2 web-slings its way into Google Play

The official Android game for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hit the Play Store today, offering plenty of web-slinging and smart-alecky heroism. The storyline expands on what’s in the movie, and has tons of unlockables, like the Symbiote Spider-Man costume, and butt heads with villains like Venom and Kraven the Hunter. Sony’s likely done so for the some of the same reason as well: they can update  [Read More…]

We’ve got a new background blur effect that has become all the rage with SLR wannabes like the HTC One M8 and a new UI with extra-big capture button. It’s also worth noting that the aspect ratio of the shot is properly reflected in the preview now, a longtime issue with the old stock Camera app. And the much maligned radial menu  [Read More…]

Camera 1

It has been a trend for companies to put their standalone apps in the Play Store for quick updating. Google usually does this type of thing with all of their apps. One, however, has never been included in the Play Store… until today. They’ve finally added their camera app to Google Play.
