Nexus 5 and 7 now available from Google Play in several new countries

Along with the expansion of the Chromecast to a handful of new countries and Google Play Music and Movies coming to dozens of new countries, even more people can now also get their hands on the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 directly from Google Play. The latest Nexus phone is now available in Austria, Belgium, Portugal and Sweden, taking the total number of countries where it is available up to 20.

Google Play Services 4.3 now rolling out with new APIs, support for latest Play Games improvements

Four more APIs get rolled into Play Services for easier access by all developers across devices

Version 4.3 of Google Play Services is now rolling out to devices, bringing with it a new set of APIs, refreshes of other existing APIs and improvements related to the Google Play Games announcement from this morning. Google Play Games gets new features following Game Developers Conference

Google Play Store update available: Adds ability to set purchase requirements

With all the focus surrounding the class-action lawsuit due to unauthorised charges accumulated through in-app purchases, Google has issued an update to the Google Play Store of which one particular added feature is the ability to set exactly when to be prompted for authentication.
