Kenwood has begun shipping the new DDX9902S and DDX9702S aftermarket Android Auto receivers to retailers. The company previously unveiled the new products at CES 2015.

Sony unveils new sound bars and A/V receivers with support for Google Cast

Sony took the wraps off of a new line of sound bars and A/V receivers today, some of which come with support for Google Cast right on board.

In all, two of the sound bars and both A/V receivers that Sony unveiled today support Google Cast, enabling users to push audio content directly to them from a compatible device.

Onkyo updates its Android app for 2014 receivers

Onkyo’s remote app isn’t exactly what we’d call a looker, but it’s a great little mobile addition to its receivers. It got an update this weekend to add compatibility with its 2014 models, which is good since we’re nearly a quarter of the way through the year. It also improved the cursor controls, and the volume controls. If you’ve got an Onkyo receiver, definitely check this one out.
