When will this back and forth end?

Another day, another possibility that Qualcomm may eventually sell to Broadcom.

Reports of Broadcom being interested in acquiring Qualcomm first appeared in early November of 2017, but Qualcomm’s Board of Directors turned down the initial offering of $ 105 billion. Broadcom came back with a counter-offer of $ 121 billion, but even so, Qualcomm still refused to sell.

Sorry, Galaxy S8 users: Bixby voice assistant remains delayed

The Wall Street Journal reports we won’t see it until “at least late June.”

There are so many features the Samsung Galaxy S8 has going for it; it’s almost bezel-less, it has the best display on the market, and it’s a wondrous performer. But one thing it does not have going for it is its own virtual assistant. It’s been two months since the launch of Samsung’s big phone release and there’s still no Bixby in sight.

Android remains the leading US smartphone platform, according to comScore

The latest data from research firm comScore shows that the Android platform claimed 53.2% of all smartphones used in the US in January 2015.

Snapdragon 810 Chipset Rollout Remains on Track

Late last week, Business Korea released a report indicating that the roll-out of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chip would be delayed. This was mostly due to an issue with an overheating CPU. New comScore data shows Android remains number one smartphone OS in US

The latest data from research firm comScore shows Android remaining on top of the smartphone OS industry in the US during June 2014 with a 51.9 percent share.

Samsung’s first Tizen phones launching in Q2 2014, Android remains ‘main business’

Samsung’s first Tizen powered smartphones are set to hit the market in Q2 of this year according to a report by Reuters. Yoon Han-kil, senior vice president of Samsung’s product strategy team, said that the first phone to launch around the end of the second quarter will be a high end model, with the next a more mid-range effort. He also said that “Android still needs to be our main business.”
