Transformer Prime

British retailer Clove Technology has taken the ASUS Transformer Prime off sale today, saying “faults” reported by customers and difficulty in obtaining stock are behind the decision.

In a post on its official blog, Clove says stock levels have been a “real issue”, and despite being able to obtain some Transformer Prime units earlier than expected, it’s decided to withdraw the tablet from sale due to complaints of faults in some units.

GameStop

Not to long ago a rumor popped up that video game retailer, GameStop — would be developing their own Android tablet to sell in their retail locations. Seems a portion of the rumors were true at this point as GameStop has now reportedly teamed up with Asus, Acer, and Samsung to offer up ‘specialized’ Android tablets pre-loaded with seven quality Android games and support for the GamesStops own tablet controller.

British online retailer Clove is the first to offer up SIM-free UK pricing for the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which was unveiled yesterday in Hong Kong. On its official blog, Clove says that it’s “confirmed” the price at £514.80 inc. VAT (~$ 825), with a initial stock of the Ice Cream Sandwich-powered treats apparently arriving “at the beginning of November.”

Android Central

British online retailer Clove Technology is first to reveal details of pricing and availability for the Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Arc S, which was announced last week at IFA in Berlin. According to an entry on its blog, Clove will sell the Arc S for £350 SIM-free, with units expected to start shipping out on Sept. 26. Clove will initially stock the Arc S in “pure white” and “midnight blue”.
