Telus rolling out Galaxy S8 and S8+ ‘red tint’ fix

Telus, Canada’s second-largest network provider, has announced that it is rolling out the so-called “red tint” fix for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, which began hitting European and U.S. devices over the past week or so.

Galaxy S8’s red tint fix is now rolling out in the U.S.

Samsung is now rolling out the OTA update to fix the Galaxy S8 and S8+ red tint issue for T-Mobile customers. The South Korean manufacturer said last week that it would issue an update to automatically fix color calibration of the Galaxy S8 after a few users reported that their devices had a red tint on their displays.

Google Duo’s audio calling feature is now rolling out to everyone

Everyone can now make audio calls on Google’s Duo.

Google rolled out audio calling in Duo last month, starting with users in Brazil. The feature lets you easily toggle between video or audio calls from within Duo’s interface, and the app’s technical lead Justin Uberti announced today that audio calling is now available to all users globally.

Searching for topics flooded by fake news will now have a new tag in the top results card with fact checking done by third parties.
