Samsung Galaxy Wi-Fi 5-inch now available in the UK

Samsung has announced the availability of the 5-inch Galaxy Wi-Fi, a 5-inch personal media player based on its Galaxy S line of smartphones.  It’s powered by a 1GHz single-core TI OMAP processor, and runs Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. No pricing information is included in the press release, but a cursory glance at Google Shopping shows prices of around £200 (~$ 310).

Galaxy S III makes an appearance in alleged Samsung slide

Nearly all of the Galaxy S II variants are out the door in the US. Only T-Mobile has yet to launch. Naturally that means its time for details about the Samsung Galaxy S III to start bubbling up to the surface.

As Jerry will tell you, he’s a sucker for white devices and I’m sure a lot of others out there are as well. Samsung to file injunction to block sales of Apple’s iPhone 4S in Italy and France

Less than 24 hours after Apple introduced the new iPhone 4S, Samsung has announced that they plan to file injunctions in Italy and France in hopes of blocking sales of the new iPhone in those countries. Samsung claims that the new iPhone 4S infringes on two of its wireless communications patents that focus on Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) 3G technologies.
